Hey there! I'm a communications strategist, host, and producer.
I believe in the power of storytelling for social change. As a professional communicator, I'm most at home when hosting, writing, and producing stories that make an impact.
My live journalism experience includes moderating events with thought leaders such as Wade Davis, Taraji P. Henson, Sybrina Fulton, Lesley McSpadden, Benjamin Crump, Sunny Hostin, Fredricka Whitfield, and Mara Brock Akil (fun fact: Mara created a character in her hit show Being Mary Jane that was named after and inspired by me).
I've built a career as a trusted and valued communications strategist for mission-driven organizations. I design communications strategies and produce original content that helps companies authentically express their values and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. To date, I've built and executed communications strategy for films including The Assistant, Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool, and 30 for 30: Vick.
As a former homecoming queen, I bleed orange! I hold a BA in Broadcast & Digital Journalism from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University (#NewhouseMafia) and a MA in Communication Education from Columbia University.
I'm a Jersey girl who can't resist a trip to the farmers market to make fresh and nurturing meals. In my spare time, I'm a screenwriter, TV and film fanatic, and can still hold my own in a ballet, modern, or tap dance class.
